Tragedy struck the village of Podoly in the Kharkiv region of eastern Ukraine as Russian shelling targeted a cafe, resulting in the deaths of two individuals and leaving another wounded. Local governor Oleh Synehubov conveyed the grim news, highlighting the civilian nature of the target.
